Short films
We've done three films as a group so far, all as part of various film competitions.
But we've just completed our first long script and hope to start shooting "Rob & Lindsay" (Working Title only) in the fall.
[STEPS]
Background: Our third team film, was again for "The Filmerica Challenge" <www.filmerica.com>, this time in August 2006. Over a weekend (Friday night to Monday morning) we created the film, but this time were given: the Love Story / Drama genre, a character (Morgan Becker - Unemployed), a Prop (Hammer), and a line of dialogue ("Things aren't always what they seem."). We are excitedly awaiting the results; 33 teams entered.
Synopsis: An unemployed guy named Morgan deals with life's frustration by running in the park. An acquaintance, worried about his state of mind, invites him to a cookout which turns out to be a bash she's throwing for her therapy clients - including Morgan's ex-wife. A melee ensues, but love triumphs in the end.
